Project description
In a calm shaded valley in the
hills of Batroun, the French owners wanted a summer house for their
vacations in Lebanon. The house had to be totally open to the garden
from all rooms. The architectural language was somehow meant to remind
the Clients of their homeland yet remain contextual. All olive trees
and grapes were to be kept or relocated within the garden. Rough
typical stone walls had to fade in the old stone terraces.
