Project description
The main issue in this project
was how to organize the client’s restrictive demands of small openings
with the specific site characteristics: On one hand a breathtaking
unobstructed view towards the Roman ruins of Faqra and on the other
hand a pie-chart shaped plot with its triangular end towards the view.
Atop of that, sloped tiled roof and stone cladding were a must. We
chose a particular internal setup at 45° within a square box shaped
volume emphasizing the axis of the view.
Built Area: 405 m²
External Areas: 485 m²
Status: Preliminary Design - Unexecuted
Location: Faqra, Kesrwan, Lebanon.
