Project description
Years after we had designed
his villa (in collaboration with ADU - Architectural Design Unit), the
Owner asked us to add a swimming pool and its facilities. A thorough
sunshade analysis of the existing structure led us to locate
the pool at the northwest edge of the plot. A sunny wooden deck
stretches over the top of the olive trees while a terracotta low wall
hides the uncovered showers. A small bar hooked to the wall is covered
by a little pergola. In our landscaping approach, we emphasized on the
balance between the existing olive and oak trees and the new garden
space.
