Project description
The plot is situated on two
different streets of the Clemenceau area, in Beirut. Its trapezoidal
shape expands towards the low-level seaside secondary street. The
construction follows the contours of the plot and consists of two
double oriented flats per floor, separated by an open court served by
two vertical circulations. The duplex is located on the recessed upper
floors. A pedestrian shortcut links both street levels through a double
oriented entrance hall. Our design of a two block volumetric layout
provided a solution for the complexity of building on different levels.
