Project description
On a tiny plot (273m²),
between two parallel roads with 9m difference in level, we had to
provide 4 houses and a loft for the members of one family. The
mandatory height limit of the street façade and the narrowness
of the plot resulted in the unconventional duplex/triplex organization
of the residences. Towards the West, zinc sheet roofing shall slide
down till the first level, providing the innovative and dynamic aspect
of the project. To the East, honed stone cladding harmonizes the street
elevation with its context. Apparent random openings on the
façade reflect the building’s internal organisation.
