Project description
This complex project was to be
built on a sensitive crossroads nod in Beirut. Our client requested a
commercial mall as well as residential and office space. The plot
itself had several constraints: a high speed road passing at 6m high
above ground level, an adjacent blind wall and difficult vehicular
access due to the crossroads. The plot was on two different zonings. We
were able to convince the authorities to reconsider this in order to
harmonize the construction with its immediate surroundings. The final
result was an L shape plan for residential flats and a five storey
block with an internal court for the commercial mall and offices.
